Rosland "Roz" L Williams

January 13, 1954 - April 16, 2021

Rosland L. Williams, 67, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly from this earthly life to eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 16, 2021 at home following a sudden illness.

Rosland, affectionately called “Roz” by friends and family, was born on January 13, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama to Deloris Donald and Ralph Williams. Rosland has been a resident of Lorain, Oh since 1964.

Rosland graduated from Clearview High School in 1972. Rosland was retired and had previously worked for York International, and was also an amazing seamstress in her spare time. Rosland accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and was a member of New Creation Baptist Church under Pastor Marilyn Parker-Jeffries.

Rosland enjoyed sewing, cooking, fashion, helping family and friends raise their children, crafting, and being with her family and friends. She adored her two children (Kanosha & Jeremy), granddaughter (Taj), Grandson (Jayden), and her great grandbaby Princess Kacy! She had an unbreakable bond with her mother known to everyone as “Granny”!

Rosland will be sorely missed by her daughter Kanosha L. Charlton(Micah Charleton) of Lorain, Ohio; her son Jeremy Taylor of Los Angeles, CA; her step daughter Briana ”Yani” Taylor of Lorain, Ohio; her granddaughter Taj McCall of Lorain, Ohio; her grandson Jayden Black of Lorain, Ohio; her great granddaughter Kacy McCall of Lorain, Ohio; her mother Deloris Donald of Lorain, Ohio; her brothers, Ralph (Zoanne)Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dwight (Rhonda)Williams of Mobile, Alabama; her God Children, Amber Goshen of Lorain, Ohio, Lance Burnette of Lorain, Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Rosland was preceded in death by her fathers Ralph Williams and Haywood Donald; Maternal Grandparents, Nettie and George Turner (nee Adams).

Services will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at Living Word Church South Campus, 2002 E, 28th St., Lorain. Viewing will be from 10am-12pm with services immediately following. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Covid-19 protocols will be followed; wearing a mask is required.
