James Harbin, 75,of Lorain passed away Monda, June 25, 2018 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born to the Late LJ. and Bernice Harbin on May 16, 1943. After high school he joined the army where he served in Vietnam and retired from the service in 1970. He relocated to Ohio where he had a career at the US Steel corporation for over 30 years. He had a passion for working on cars. He continued work on them into his 70s and was known for being the best auto mechanic in Lorain Ohio. At an early age gave his life to Jesus Christ and joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters Destiny Harbin (Juhan Sumbry)of Lorain OH and Luisa Harbin-Giagini of Germany, and one son Darren Kimbrough Sr(Erica Kimbrough) of Lansing MI. 13 grandchildren, 4 greatgrand children four brothers, Vernon Harbin, Thomas Dubose, Edward Dubose, of Lisman, AL and Jimmie Dubose of Baton Rouge, LA; Four sisters, Lucille Craig, Cleola Danner, Julis Dubose and Mary Ann Hampton, of Lisman, AL; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

James is proceeded in death by his father and mother, L.J. and Bernice Harbin, step-father Joe Tom Dubose, three brothers, L.J. Harbin, John Harbin, Grover Dubose, like a son Maurice Young Sr. and his lovely granddaughter Elaina Harbin.

Family will Celebrate His Life on Saturday June 30, 2018 from, 2:00PM until 6:00PM at 3113 Toledo Ave Lorain. Burial will be Held in Alabama
